1st Scourge Test Figure

I just finished my 1st Scourge test figure. To be honest, I'm not completely happy with it, but I'm running out of time to get them done. I have demos scheduled for this weekend and still have a lot to accomplish before I'm ready.

4x4 Board Work in Progress

Taking some advice from Sholto who's Blog has an excellent looking board that has inspired mine heavily, I started with laying out the main street network for my 4x4 Drop Zone Commander board. Photobucket

Now each city block within the road network will be built with a combination of roads, buildings, and whatever other scenery comes to mind. One finished example: Photobucket

From another angle: Photobucket

This system is incredibly easy to do, and, compared to many other terrain methods, pretty inexpensive. I recommend it.

P.S. I may or may not have toyed around with some Battletech miniatures in here as well ;)

Buildings Started

Hawk Wargames has a set of Downloadable Buildings for their new game Drop Zone Commander.

I found this Tutorial to be helpful.

I tried my had at a few and this is how they turned out: Photobucket

Reporting for Duty!

Looks like its United Colonies of Mankind (UCM) for me. After the "Abandonist" (Later calling themselves the Post Human Republic) ran off to hide like little girls; the Shaltari turned and looked the other way; the The Scourge came and threw the rest of humanity a serious beat-down. Well, I for one am not going to let this lie. Sign me up for some Reconquest Action.
